Answer: No, they do not emit light and they are easy to use once your fingers get the hang of the keys. -

Answer: Yes, they beep when you press them. Big screen and nice buttons. Really strong magnet on my fridge. I really like these. -

Do they have a flat back? Can I stick them to a piece of metal (like fridge) and push the buttons without it rocking back and forth and coming off?
Answer: There is a small magnet on the back. You can attach to fridge (and stays secure) as long as it's not stainless steel. -

Are these able to be wiped off with disinfectant wipes?
Answer: Yes, you can wipe them off with disinfectant wipes without damaging. -

What battery type / how many does the timer need?
Answer: The timer needs AAA batteries. Please be careful as they break very easily. -
Question:
Once set, does the timer stay set on the time it was set for or once you silence the alarm does it reset to zero and need to be reset each time?
Answer: In my set of these timers, pressing the start/stop button when the timer finishes will both silence the alarm and reset it to the starting time.
