Lew Electric Outlet Boxes 812-DFB Editorial Review
The Flush Mounted Round Floor Box Single Flip Lid in Aluminum received mixed reviews from customers. While some had installation issues, others found it very useful. One reviewer had trouble with the box being too wide to fit in the 4” hole, but was able to grind it down to make it fit. Another suggested using a 3-3/8” hole saw for more shim space. The box features plenty of holes for romex clamps, and each hole is threaded to accommodate 3/8” or 3/4” romex clamps. The circular opening for each outlet is fine for a typical plug, but not suitable for a wall wart or an unusually large plug. The box worked well for those who had it installed, with one customer moving an outlet in the concrete floor over some distance for use in their end tables. A reviewer also noted that the company was highly responsive to their issues. **
