It is made with a blend of cotton and rayon which makes it very comfortable to wear. The dress is somewhat sheer and fluid, but the colors and pattern make it such that you can't really see through it. It doesn't have any odor and the material covers well. Although it doesn't have pockets, it's lightweight, looks nice, and it's comfortable to wear. For outdoor use, it's recommended that you wear a slip under it. The side slits might be a little high for doing light yard work or other activities. One of the best things about this dress is that it comes in a one size that will fit a person who is size 18-20.
