Answer: I just hung my feeder using this stopper. I have seen a few drops, but not bad. It is not too hot here yet, so it will be interesting to see how it performs this summer. Definitely fits tight enough in a wine or beer bottle feeder. -

Answer: At the wide top of the black stopper is 7/8 inches. At the narrow end of the black stopper is about 5/8 inch. From top to bottom - the wide end to the narrow end is 1 inch. -

Answer: Hi Kimberly, I was able to use this with a bottle (similar to a standard wine bottle). I didn't use an apple feeder. Perhaps this will work on a standard wine bottle - I just didn't have any luck getting it to stay in. I wish I could be more help. Good luck! -
