The YIHUA 305D-IV is a regulated variable DC lab power supply designed for R&D, labs, laptops, phone repair, and electronic DIY. It does not have a separate output switch/button and outputs power as soon as it is turned ON. The display will show 0000 until the load is connected to the power supply for the first time. The course and fine adjustment knobs make it easy to dial in an accurate value. However, some customers have experienced issues with the power supply resetting the voltage back to 0v when trying to set the fine current, and others have noted that the LCD display has a blind spot making it difficult to read from above. Additionally, the current has been noted to be a bit off, especially at the low end. Customers have also experienced issues with the power supply not holding the current limit that was initially set. Overall, the YIHUA 305D-IV is a good power supply for the price if you know how to use it and understand the overshoot. It has a good precision, is quiet, and is a solid unit for DIY or home hobby bench.
