Users are advised that an HDMI cable is not included to connect the Transmitter to the source. The extender is compatible with Cat 8 and utilizes RJ45 connectors that are backward compatible with structured cabling from Category 5e through to Category 6A. Customer reception has been mixed with some praising the product for being easy to use and working perfectly as described. Others have experienced issues with video and sound intermittently dropping out and have had to power cycle the product to get it working again. The HDMI Loop Out Port on the transmitter has stopped working for some customers. The USB mouse port has been problematic for some with multiple mice, both wired and wireless dongle versions, failing to send anything back to the NVR. Customer support has been unresponsive in some instances.
