The Basicvolt 18W Universal Power Supply is a transformer and rectifier with multiple wire taps, enabling the transformation of 120V AC voltage to lower AC voltages and the provision of DC voltage. The power supply is compatible with a range of household electronics such as LED strip lights, routers, speakers, CCTV cameras, tablets, MP3 players and more. The power adapter also features a 5.5*2.1mm positive (+) builtin barrel dimension, and it is compatible with the Basicvolt Polarity Reverse Cable for this 18W 3-12V universal AC/DC adapter. The power supply is not compatible with 8.4v and has a maximum wattage of 18W. It does not automatically adjust amperage. Overall, this power supply is a functional, easy to use and good value product that works with several devices. However, some customers reported it did not work with most of their devices.
