It is noticeably better than the LP Gear cartridge that comes with the Denon DP 400 TT. However, this is a low-output Moving Coil Cartridge, so make sure your amplifier can handle it before purchasing. The cartridge is premounted on the headshell, and if you have a quick-change arm, you only need to open the box and put on the stylus.
