The NOYAFA NF-308R Network tester is a device for physical testing and cables that can test PoE voltage data, POE standard and trace cables that are connected with a PoE switch. It includes adjustable sensitivity, the ability to detect 24v passive POE, and test continuity of the ground conductor on grounded/shielded cable. It uses a 9v battery for the receiver and 3 AAA batteries for the main tester. It cannot generate traffic and has no ability to generate ISP/other mbps output from internet service provider output on a coax modem, router or Ethernet. Though the cable pinout test works great, the cable length accuracy seems to vary with the cable length. The worst error measuring cables ranging between 6 and 80 ft was about 13%. The other issue with this product is the user interface being a bit cumbersome. Also, one user claimed that the wand for tracing cables stopped working about 1 month after the product was purchased and began using it. However, the majority of its current customers find it an excellent device. They appreciate that multiple menu options are available, the material is sturdy enough, and the volume tone adjustment available. It helps to organise and label the cables in the server rack. Some also noted that it worked great for debugging and getting the length of cable to upgrade cat level. Others claim that it is doing what it was purchased for.
