The Pasco 5023 Hose Bibb Anchor is a useful solution for securely fastening an outdoor hose bibb to the wall. The anchor clamps onto the hose bibb or pipe and screws tightly against the wall, preventing any wobbling or shaking. This product is made from brass-plated steel material and is rust-proof. It is compatible with copper and galvanized pipes and may not work with 1/2" copper pipes due to their small diameter. The anchor comes with short stubs and longer screws. The smooth bore holes on one bracket of the short stubs let you clamp the pipe by inserting the bolt through the hole, sliding that bracket over the pipe, placing the other bracket over the pipe and aligning the holes before threading the bolts into the other bracket's holes until tight. The long stubs have threads for the bolts to screw into which tensions against the exterior wall of the structure. It is not advised to use this product with PEX pipes, and a nipple can be used to connect the PEX to the hose bibb. The Pasco 5023 Hose Bibb Anchor is zinc-plated/electrogalvanized to resist rusting and may need extra protection in an underground application with bituminous paint.
