The Granberg Grind-N-Joint 12V Hand Held Chain Grinder is a handy tool for sharpening chainsaws. It does not come with a clamp mount, so it is used freehand with the alignment plate for setting the grinding angle. It uses a narrow cylinder grinding stone and comes with the common size that works on most chainsaws. There is a flat plate on top of the motor with set screws for mounting a bar mount. However, if you are looking for a bar mount chain saw sharpener, you should consider the Granberg Bar Mount Chain Saw Sharpener Model# G-106B or the G1012XT from the Granberg website. Overall, the grinder works well but some customers prefer the setting of older models.
